Redmi A3 May Get Larger Display, Camera Module; Key Specifications Tipped Via Retail Box Leak: The Redmi A3, which debuted in May 2023 in India alongside the Redmi A2+, is anticipated to arrive shortly as the replacement for the Remdi A2. Like its predecessors, the rumored phone is expected to be a low-cost option, the most affordable Redmi model on the market. On the other hand, there might be some notable improvements over the previous versions of the Redmi A3.
The phone has previously been seen on some certification websites and listed in a few retail establishments. Currently, some important specifications for the suspected phone appear to have escaped from the retail packaging.

Pictures of the Redmi A3 retail packaging were released in a GSMArena article. The phone’s display, which measures 6.71 inches on the box, is noticeably larger than the Redmi A2’s 6.52-inch panel. The display will reportedly have a refresh rate of 90 Hz as well. It is probably going to appear shortly because the retail boxes have leaked and the model has already been seen at African retail locations.

Along with 4GB of RAM, the Redmi A3 has 128GB of inbuilt storage. At launch, the Redmi A2 was available with 32GB and 64GB of storage. Notably, a 64GB internal storage version of the device was just spotted online.
It is rumored that the Redmi A3 will have a larger camera module in addition to a larger display. It is shown in the report’s photographs as having a black color option and a round camera module positioned in the center near the top of the rear panel. It looks to have an LED flash in addition to a twin rear camera system.
The Redmi A3 is expected to come in black, blue, and forest green color variants. The front camera will be housed in a waterdrop notch in the center of the display, as per previous listings. It is anticipated to run Android 13 out of the box and feature dual SIM connectivity. In addition to the previously mentioned display specifications, the phone might have an HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixel) resolution, 400 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.
A MediaTek CPU with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM—which supports up to 8GB of VRAM—is anticipated to power the Redmi A3. Moreover, eMMC 5.1 onboard storage is rumored. The phone’s dual rear camera setup is probably going to consist of an unidentified AI-backed camera and a 13-megapixel primary sensor. The front camera may have an 8-megapixel sensor. Presumably, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W cable charging will be included.
