Pushpa 2: The film starring South star opposite Allu Arjun, has been the talk of the town for many reasons. Be it the first look of the actors or the teaser that was released by the makers a few weeks ago, everything about the film is larger than life, which has made movie buffs impatient for the film’s release.
One of the most notable parts of the film is actor Fahadh Faasil, whose recent statement about his extreme obsession with the movie has created a frenzy on social media. The fact that Fahadh has highlighted people’s obsession with movies when his film is all set to release in a few weeks has created a lot of curiosity among social media users.
Fahadh Faasil’s recent statement on extreme obsession with cinema has left netizens divided
There is no denying that India, after religion and cricket, is obsessed with cinema. Cinema certainly has the power to influence society. People often copy the behavior of a hero and the fashion style of actresses and sometimes people get inspired by the story of a movie.
Highlighting people’s extreme obsession with movies, South star Fahadh Faasil, who will next be seen in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2, said in an interview with Gallatta Plus that he doesn’t want people to talk about movies during their dinner. He says that once you watch a film, you can discuss it in the theater or even while returning home, but more than that, people should not discuss the film. He mentions that movies should have a limit and that a person can do more in their life just by watching movies.
Fahadh’s statement has divided social media users. While some said it must have been brave of him to share such insightful thoughts despite being an actor, others said his statement must have been wrong. See the responses below.
Fahadh Faasil added, “Just think of me when you are in the theatre. I don’t want people to discuss actors or acting even at their dinner table. Just discuss it at the theater or during the drive back home. Cinema is no exception; It has a limit. You can do more with your life than watch movies.”
