OnePlus 12R Gets Camera Improvements With Its First Software Update in India: The less expensive OnePlus 12R, which runs OxygenOS 14 atop Android 14 and has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, was introduced in India last month. Since its introduction, the phone has now begun receiving its first software update in India. In India, the phone will be on sale on February 6. The update improves system efficiency and stability while also bringing camera improvements for the OnePlus 12R. In some circumstances, it also offers optimizations for power usage. The size of the update is about 400MB.

In India, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has begun to distribute OxygenOS version 14.0.0.307 (EX01) to OnePlus 12R handsets. The 400MB upgrade brings performance and stability enhancements to the system. Network and Bluetooth connectivity stability and compatibility have been improved with the most recent OxygenOS version.
With the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus has made some upgrades to the rear camera. Indoor photography has also been improved with the first upgrade. To increase battery life, the software update includes optimization for power use. It is anticipated that the global deployment will soon extend to new markets.
The 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264×2,780 pixels) LTPO 4.0 AMOLED screen that comes with the OnePlus 12R. It has an LPDDR5x RAM of up to 16GB and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Its triple rear camera unit consists of a 2-megapixel macro, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. The phone’s selfie camera is 16 megapixels. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
