Stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Farooqui was among 14 people detained by the Mumbai Police in a late-night raid on a hookah parlor in South Mumbai’s Fort area on Tuesday. As the news came out, Elvish Yadav posted a cryptic post on X and it is now taking over the internet.
X (earlier on Twitter) Yadav wrote, “Bigg Boss jite ke baad sabka bura time shuru hojata hai kya..” (‘Bigg Boss’ winners start having tough times after winning) he wrote. Elvish made headlines in 2023 for being arrested in a snake poisoning case. The ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ winner admitted that he supplied snake venom to foreign clients at rave parties.

Munawar won Bigg Boss 17 and Elvish bagged the trophy for Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. BB fans called Elvis out on his tweet, “So wrong… Rubina Dilaik, Tejaswi Prakash, Gauahar Khan are prime examples of being so successful even after winning BB. ..” X user wrote. “Only deserving winners are safe!” Another comment. Another social media user even quipped that Yadav doesn’t know how to handle his newfound fame.
A case has been registered against Farooqui and 13 others, Mumbai police said. Farooqui was later released after filing a case.
Munawar was one of the most popular contestants in the 17th season of the color show. Ever since she entered the Bigg Boss house, she has been in the limelight.
